NHL: “Good luck, man!”

Eines ist amtlich: George Laraque gehört wirklich zu den krassesten Spieler der NHL. Beim Spiel gegen Los Angeles trug Laraque ja ein Micro für’s Fernsehen - und es gab einen Kampf. Was es da zu hören gab vor dem Kampf… Selbst anschauen, ein absolutes Muss und ein absolut garantierter Lacher!

NHL: Dritter Sieg in Folge!

Tja, da kann man sich doch fast nur verwundert die Augen reiben. Die Coyoten haben gegen die Nashville Predators den dritten Sieg in Folge eingefahren. Beim 3:2 erzielten Yanic Perreault, Oleg Saprykin und Patrick Fischer. Mikael Tellqvist sicherte 19 von 21 Schüssen, mit Zigomanis, Nagy und Doan sowei Jovanovskie erzielten weitere Spieler einen Assist - und George Laraque deren gleich zwei.

Dritter Sieg in Folge - man glaubt es kaum, aber das gibt dann nun doch vielleicht etwas Rückenwind…

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Patrick Fischer scored with 11:20 remaining to lift Phoenix past the Nashville Predators 3-2 Monday night for the Coyotes’ fifth straight home victory.

Oleg Saprykin and Yanic Perreault also scored and Mikael Tellqvist earned his first win for the Coyotes, who have won four of five.

Steve Sullivan and Alexander Radulov scored for the Predators, who lost in regulation for just the third time in 23 games (17-3-3) since opening the season with three straight losses.

Ladislav Nagy gained control of a blocked shot low in the right faceoff circle and fed a quick pass in front of the crease to Fisher, who tapped the puck past goalie Chris Mason and into the open left side of the net for his fourth goal.

Mason had allowed long rebounds throughout the game, but the Coyotes were unable to take advantage until late in the second period.
